This website is operated by Climate Direct UK. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Climate Direct UK. By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. ONLINE STORE TERMS
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are legally capable of entering into a contract.
You must not use our products or services for any unlawful purpose or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
2. PRODUCTS AND INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Product images are for illustration purposes and minor differences in appearance or packaging may occur. Technical specifications may also be updated by manufacturers.
Where a material error is identified before an order is fulfilled, we may contact you to correct the error or offer cancellation and a refund.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes will be handled as shown on the website and at checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorized before an order is processed.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or listing errors. If such an error affects an order already placed, we will contact you before proceeding.
4. ORDERS
Submission of an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. A contract is formed when we accept the order in accordance with our ordering process.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorized, fraud is suspected, or a material pricing or product-information error has occurred.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the appropriate refund will be issued.
5. DELIVERY
Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy.
Our normal estimated UK delivery time is 3–5 working days. In certain circumstances delivery may take up to 10 working days.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
6. RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy and applicable UK consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
7. AIR-CONDITIONING AND CLIMATE-CONTROL PRODUCTS
Certain air-conditioning and climate-control equipment is subject to specific installation, commissioning, handling and environmental requirements.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that installation and commissioning are carried out in accordance with applicable law, manufacturer requirements and any instructions supplied with the product.
Where legally required, regulated work must be performed by a suitably qualified or certified person.
8. WARRANTY AND FAULTS
Any applicable manufacturer warranty is subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
A manufacturer warranty is additional to, and does not replace or restrict, any statutory rights you may have against us as the seller.
If you believe a product is faulty, please contact us so that the matter can be assessed and resolved.
9. INSTALLATION SERVICES
Unless installation is expressly included in your order or separately agreed in writing, the purchase of equipment from Climate Direct UK is for supply of the product only and does not include installation.
Where installation is separately arranged, any additional terms applicable to that service will be communicated to you.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our website may use or provide access to services operated by third parties, including payment providers, delivery companies and Shopify.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information submitted through the store is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
