Home air conditioning

Discuss cooling and heating options for bedrooms, living rooms, flats, houses, loft rooms and home offices. Room size, glazing, insulation and solar gain affect the system you may need.

Commercial air conditioning

Enquire about offices, retail premises and other commercial spaces. Occupancy, equipment heat loads, operating hours and separately controlled areas all influence the design.

Single-split systems

Suitable for many single-room projects. An indoor unit connects to a compatible outdoor unit. Equipment selection and final sizing depend on the building and a suitable assessment.

Multi-split and larger systems

Ask about solutions for multiple rooms and compatible indoor and outdoor unit combinations. Ceiling cassette and ducted options can also be discussed where appropriate.

Areas covered for installation enquiries

We welcome enquiries from London and Greater London, Luton, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, the South East, South West, Midlands, North West, North East, Yorkshire, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Availability varies by postcode and project. Please contact us to confirm service in your area before making arrangements.

Qualified engineers

Our installation network includes engineers with relevant F-Gas certification, REFCOM-related certification, City & Guilds and BESA qualifications, and NICEIC or NAPIT electrical credentials as applicable. The qualifications and availability of the engineer assigned to your project can be confirmed when discussing the work.

What happens before installation?

  1. Send your postcode, property type, room details and preferred system, if known.
  2. Discuss equipment selection, heat-load assessment and a suitable indoor and outdoor unit position.
  3. Confirm any required permissions, access, electrical provision and installation scope.
  4. Receive confirmation of availability and a project-specific quotation.

Installation is not automatically included in the online equipment price unless expressly stated in the product listing or quotation.

Air conditioning installation FAQs

What size air conditioner do I need?

Cooling capacity is measured in kW or BTU/h. The right size depends on heat gain, room dimensions, insulation, windows, occupancy and equipment. A professional assessment is more reliable than choosing by floor area alone.

Can air conditioning also provide heating?

Many reverse-cycle systems offer both heating and cooling. Check the specification of the exact indoor and outdoor unit combination before ordering.

Do flats need permission for an outdoor unit?

Permission may be required from the freeholder, landlord, building management or planning authority. Check the rules for your property before arranging installation.

How much does installation cost?

Costs depend on the equipment, pipework, access, electrical requirements, building type and location. Contact us for a quotation tailored to your project.

Do you offer maintenance or replacement?

Tell us about your existing system, model and postcode when enquiring. We can confirm whether suitable maintenance, repair or replacement support is available for your project.
